While not strictly wandering the somber halls of dungeon synth, I set out to create a collection of music that was sad, ominous, weird, and oppressive. I was inspired during the creation of this album by lots of old school DS, but also by the strange sounds of noise music, and an evil world which my companions and I traverse in a roleplaying game campaign. This album contains some elements of emotions I felt at the time of writing some of this album, and also fantasies I had of an underground castle town, hidden deep under a cathedral-topped mountain. The result of that was The Sorrow, and I am forever grateful for the reception the physical version of this album has received. Cheers to all for your support, and I am already brewing and stewing on my next strange proto-ds release.
